April 2022 has been an unusually wet month so far. Traditionally, April and May are the driest months of the year in Florida. These yearly droughts may shape our water usage, but they should not rob us of having beautiful yards!
Florida-friendly landscaping means planning a garden that utilizes drought tolerant plants and gives our aquifer a break.
Xeriscaping is also an excellent solution for those who manage to “kill anything green and growing in dirt” or spend a lot of time away from their lawn.
