As some of your trees may go dormant in winter, we do not advise trimming any of the branches later than October. Trimming them now will only expose the tender new growth to potential cold weather. Wait to trim your trees in the spring time.

If you are on a quarterly fertilization regiment using fast 2-3 month release fertilizer, August poses an excellent opportunity to fertilize.
Fertilizing now in conjunction with the nutrients in the summer time rains will make your plants and landscape thrive and flourish!
Simply apply a small palm full of fast release (2-3 month) fertilizer in a round circle around your plants, palms and trees.
Do not apply too close to the plant as it may burn the roots. Make sure there’s about 6+ inches between plant and fertilizer.
