Type of Plant: Very large sized deciduous (loses its leaves for the winter) tree.
Description: It is an extremely fast growing shade tree and is distinguished from other trees by its mottled exfoliating bark, which flakes off leaving trunk and branches greenish-white, gray and brown. Their beautiful leaves are a bright yellow/green color and are 4-9” in size. A sycamore can grow to massive proportions. Height is typically 98-130 feet, but some have measured up to 167 feet tall.
