Prune and re-shape trees and shrubs!
Be sure to prune any diseased or cold damaged branches. Their springtime flush of new growth will soon follow after trimming, fertilizing and proper watering has taken place.
Fertilize, Fertilize, Fertilize!
Fertilizing now will get your plants strong, blooming, and healthy in time for the summer time heat and rain!
Increase your watering!
Spring is the driest time of year in Florida so make sure your plants are getting enough water. Increase your irrigation timers and check sprinkler heads for proper coverage. A good garden hose soaking will benefit them as well.
