SUMMARY:Souper Bowl Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:Take the tackle hunger challenge!\nWhat if everyone watching the big game donated $1 or 1 can of food?  That would be a gamechanger! \nJoin Canterbury Farms Nursery & Garden Center and the Souper Bowl of Caring this year to help tackle hunger right here in Pasco County.  Beginning Monday\, January 30th\, in the weeks leading up to the big game\, we’re taking up a collection and asking for just one dollar or one non-perishable food item to help #tacklehunger and poverty in our community.  All donations will be delivered to Metropolitan Ministries of West Pasco. \n\nTheir greatest food needs include: canned meat\, peanut butter\, boxed cereal\, rice\, beans\, canned vegetables\, and canned fruit \n\nAdditional food needs include: soup\, pasta/pasta sauce\, gravy mix\, jelly/jam\, cranberry sauce\, boxes Jell-O\, cake mix\, pudding\, and baby food (formula/cereal/jars) \nBring in your donations any time between Monday\, January 30th and Saturday\, February 11th.  We’ll end with a special Souper Bowl Celebration on Saturday\, February 11\, with free bowls of soup served from 11am-2pm.\nDid you know:\nThere are over 24 million households in America without enough food to live a healthy lifestyle.\n11.6 million household with children do not have enough food.\n1 in 5 children in the US are food insecure.\nWhat if everyone watching the Big Game gave just $1?  That would be $110 million to help these households in need.\nThat would be a gamechanger!
