Florida Native Bromeliads

In this presentation, Deb Smith will explore Florida’s 16 native bromeliads, including familiar favorites like Spanish moss, ball moss, and Tillandsia air plants. Guests will learn more about these fascinating plants, how they grow in Florida’s natural environment, and the important role they play in our tropical ecosystem.
Deb will also discuss growing decorative bromeliads and pineapples, along with other unique plant life forms found throughout Florida’s tropical landscapes. Hands-on demo plants will be provided for added interest, making this a great opportunity to see examples up close and learn interactively.
