Adonidia (Christmas) Palm

Description:     Single to multi slender trunk palm which grows to approx. 20-30 feet. Has feathery like fronds that are self cleaning.

Fruit:   Beneath fronds it can produce a non-edible white to pale green fruit that will ripen to a red color in winter. Hence they get the nickname “Christmas” Palm as it’s ready for the holidays w/out any other decorations required.
Climate Requirements:     Prefers full sun when mature, well drained soil & moderate water.
Care Requirements:     Palm fertilizer 3-4 times a year will keep them thriving.
Special Needs:  VERY sensitive to cold temperatures and susceptible to lethal yellowing disease.
Special Uses/Attributes:  Small size makes it flexible in any landscape situation and is also a great potted palm porch or poolside.
